Description

Including a 24-page color photo album
with stills from the film and exclusive behind-the-scenes photos.

This unlikely romantic adventure, set in Europe in the fourteenth century and filmed mostly in Prague, was written, produced, and directed by Academy Award-winner Brian Helgeland (co-writer/co-producer of L.A. Confidential), and stars Heath Ledger (The Order, Monster's Ball), Shannyn Sossamon (The Rules of Attraction), Mark Addy (The Order, The Full Monty), and Rufus Sewell (Dark City, Cold Comfort Farm).

A Knight's Tale is a rousing story of lowborn William Thatcher (Ledger) and his band of medieval misfits as they careen their way towards impossible glory. William, softhearted Roland (Addy), hot-headed Wat (Alan Tudyk), Kate the blacksmith (Laura Fraser) and an itinerant writer/storyteller named Geoff Chaucer (Paul Bettany), an exceedingly fair maiden (Shannyn Sossamon), and archrival Count Adhemar (Sewell) come together in a story that's part romance, part road trip, moving along with the exuberance of a swashbuckler.

Told against the sometimes oddball, sometimes awe-inspiring world of the 14th-century European jousting circuit, A Knight's Tale follows William's quest to change his stars and rock his medieval world.

Along with the complete shooting script, this edition includes an introduction written by writer/director Brian Helgeland, an exclusive 24-page color photo album, and the full cast and crew credits.
